Joe was born January 6, 1943 in Gilman, Colorado. He passed away peacefully at his home, February 4, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Cripple Creek and spending time at the office. He owned his own construction company for the past 44 years. He would be found there Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Victoria Cruz of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Children: Ricky Cruz of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Danny Cruz of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Daryl Cruz (Lindsey) of Denver, Colorado; Brother: Frank Cruz of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sisters: Josie Lebya of Ojo Sarco, New Mexico, Senaida Borrego of Henderson, Nevada and Amelia Trujillo of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2 Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Manuel Cruz and Elivite Lebya Cruz; Siblings: Ernest Cruz, Elevinio Cruz, Tony Cruz, Luciano Cruz and Jennie Quintana.
Funeral for Joe M. Cruz, 77 of Colorado Springs, Colorado will be held on Tuesday- February 25- 10:00AM at 2030 W. Colorado Ave. Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 10545 Drennan Rd. Pike Peak National Cemetery.
