Joann Margaret Martinez

Joann was born on July 8, 1960, in Los Angeles, CA to Ernest Hernandez (deceased) and Lillian Duran Hernandez. She was the first of three children and was preceded in death by her brother (Ernest Michael Hernandez), nephew (Michael) and niece (Michaela). She was a business partner in Old Mexico Deli restaurant in Colorado Springs, CO, she loved to cook for her family and serve others with her delicious meals.

Joann leaves behind her loving children, Robert (Cassandra) Martinez of Colorado Springs, CO, and Melissa (Mario) Martinez of Colorado Springs, CO; her precious grandchildren, Kailey, Kiara (Otis), Angelo, Kaden, and Rylee: sibling, Christine (Joe) Jaramillo; and numerous nieces, nephews, Johnny (Alexis) Macias, Jayce, Liana, Abbey, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled later, more to follow. Thank you for your continued calls and prayers as the family grieves the loss of their mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
