Joan was born in Trinidad CO on April 13, 1956 to Anita Duran and Nick Gallegos.
Joan is the mother to Renee Guerrero, Gerald Guerrero (Tonya Sloat), and Gabriel Guerrero (Jason Guerrero). She raised her children with love and devotion in Colorado Spring CO with her husband Tony.
She is survived by her children and two grandchildren, Mario Guerrero (Rebecca Bowman) and Kayla Chambers (AJ Chambers) and 7 great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Camryn, Alenna, Giovanni, Isaiah, Angel, and Jordan.
Aside from her children and grandchildren that she doted on, she is survived by three brothers and four sisters, Mary Gonzalez, Linda Armijo, Nick Gallegos, Joe Gallegos, Anthony Gallegos, Valerie Torres, and Nickie Martinez. She is preceded in death by her parents Nick and Anita Gallegos, sister Ruby Archuleta, and brother Alex Tafoya. Joan is also preceded in death by her beloved fur babies Dallas, Angel, Lilly, Mikey, Obie, and Ruby.
