Jaydee was born on Tuesday, September 9, 1969, in Seattle, Washington. He grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and graduated from Thomas B. Doherty High School. He spent many years learning and enjoying working in the automotive industry. In 1996, he welcomed his first and only little girl, Kaylie Ireland. He worked hard to make sure she felt loved. They collected pressed souvenir pennies from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and he hand-made a necklace out of them for her.
Jaydee’s favorite activities and hobbies included fly fishing, camping, watching movies, and having endless conversations with friends far and near. He loved riding his Yamaha motorcycle on beautiful days, was a gun enthusiast, and collected countless Star Wars memorabilia.
He was predeceased by his father, James Robert Duran, mother, Carole Ann Duran (Ricker), and younger brother, Aaron Daniel Duran. Jaydee is survived by his daughter, Kaylie Ireland McKenna of Boise, Idaho.
Jaydee will be laid to rest with his father, mother, and brother in Aguilar, Colorado. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and additional information will be shared soon.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Swan-Law.com for the Duran family.
As Obi-Wan Kenobi would say, “The Force will be with you. Always.”
