Jayce was born in San Diego, California March 23, 1992. He went to South County High School in Lorton, Virginia. He married Gina Saffell on February 14, 2019, in Littleton, Colorado.
He graduated with honors from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa (Rolltide). Jayce had many accomplishments and achievements in his life that we all often reflected on; he was a very talented athlete in all sports, honor student, leader within his work at the Air Force, and self-taught artist. But, Jayce was never more proud than being a family man and a loving dedicated father to baby Jax - his legacy.
He worked for the Air Force as an IT Specialist and Software developer. He recently completed Celebrate Recovery and was so excited to be so connected to our Christ our Lord. Jayce was known for doing flips everywhere he went. He had been a gymnast and tumbler. He actually represented the United States as a tumbler at World Championship in 2005.
Jayce is survived by his wife: Gina, parents: Michael and Nora, Sister: Brooke as well as a large loving family.
Jayce is a ray of sunshine and a vibrant spirit. He was always positive and touched the lives of everyone he met. The life of the party, the caring smile on a hard day, a friend in the lonely times. The radiating love he had for his friends and family was infectious. He was the best son, husband, father and friend. Jayce’s spirit, hope and genuine love for life will carry on in all of us. His son will continue to learn of the man his father was, we will fill Jax with the memories of his father so Jayce can live on through him. He has a special way of making people feel like they have known him forever, making friends into family. He will be missed immensely by so many.
Te Quiero Mucho, until we meet again.
