James F. Gilbert 84 of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away November 19, 2016. James was born April 13, 1932 in Springfield, Missouri to the late Perry and Marie Gilbert. James was the Head Custodian for many schools in District 11 where he wore many hats.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910.
James is survived by the love of his life for 58 years, Sharon Gilbert, 3 daughters, Audra Ellis, Pamela Mason, Laura Groff and son Stephen Gilbert, as well 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
James is preceded in passing by his parents and grandson's, Danny Farris and Patrick Gilbert.
