Just these few words

I’d like to say.

Though we were spread out

far and wide

I often wished to be there

by your side.

For me some words came

not with ease,

And for this I ask forgiveness,

please.

But it was always ever

on my mind

Even if the phrase was

hard to find.

Was it ever said? I can’t recall.I

But I truly loved you,
