June 30, 1955 – September 21, 2024
James Alan Chamberlin, 69, of Colorado Springs, departed this life on September 21, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Born to Paul and Helen Chamberlin in Port Jefferson, NY, he was the youngest of four brothers. He grew up fishing in Patchogue, NY until he moved to Colorado in the 80’s. A proud graduate of the University of Southern Colorado, James earned an Associate’s Degree in electronics. However, his true calling lay in quality control manufacturing. James shared 42 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Melanie. Together, they raised two children: Chris and Stacy, instilling in them the values of hard work and kindness. In his retirement, James found joy in driving a school bus for Academy District 20. He leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by his wife, children, and five grandchildren: Kaylia, Christian, Adaline, Jameson, and Silas. His son-in-law, Kody, his daughter-in-law, Stephanie, and his extended family will always remember how he influenced their lives. He is also survived by his brothers, Ed, John, and George, who will remember him fondly. James's warmth will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
