Husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2019. He was born in Garapan, Saipan to Joaquin and Magdalena Santos. He was the fifth of seven children. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Rita, and brothers Roque and Severino. He is survived by his brothers Daniel, Ricardo and Joaquin.
He leaves behind his wife MariaRosa , from Madrid Spain, whom he met in Augsberg, Germany. They married in 1963 and had three children, Edwardo, Magdalena and Isidro. He has four grandchildren, Donato, Gabriela, Tea and Miguel.
He was in the US Army for 21 years, and retired while he was in the 35th Infantry Cacti Division. He served two tours in Vietnam and received numerous affirmations, to include two Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts, two Army Commendations, and a Unit Commendation.
Isidro enjoyed playing cards with his friends, casinos and traveling. However, he spent much of his time watching his grandchildren participate in many activities. He loved to cheer and support many Manitou Springs sport teams and was called Grandpa by many. He was an excellent bowler for years and known for his "curve" ball!
