Henry G. Guzman, unexpectedly passed away on March 24th, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he was 66 years old. Henry was born in Houston, Texas, on March 22nd, 1954 to the late Henry and Ruth Guzman. Henry graduated from Oceanside High School in 1972. He then went on to serve in the Army, learning the skills of an auto mechanic. Henry moved to Colorado Springs in 1997 where he then pursued his passion for computers and technology. He worked as an Information System Security Officer for General Dynamics IT at the time of his passing.
Henry was ambitious, outgoing, resilient and adventurous, as well as an admired member of the Colorado Springs community. He was one of the founders of the Colorado Springs Pedals & Pints Biking community. Henry was always trying to bring people together and have fun. He was passionate about hiking, snowboarding, biking, and craft beer.
Henry was a son, brother, father, grandfather, and dear friend. He leaves behind his loving children; Jeremiah, Logan, Matthew and Rachel; his loving siblings, Belinda and Susan Guzman, and Frank and Sylvia Valadez; his young grandchildren, Juniper and Lavender Guzman; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The time and place of Henry’s Celebration of Life ceremony will Be Announced at a later date due to the COVID-19 outbreak. He will be missed.
