She was born on June 24, 1933 in Gardner, Colorado to Marcelino Trujillo and Berniece (Sanchez) Trujillo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers (Gilbert and Ben Trujillo) and her loving husband, Eddie Ruybalid.
Helen leaves to cherish her memory by her brother Gene Trujillo; son, Eddie Ruybalid Jr.; two daughters, Victoria Bouquet (Kelly), Karla Britton (Tony); five grandchildren, Slyvester Martinez, Marquita Braun (Andrew), Elizabeth Ruybalid-Bandu (Dustin), Anthony Martinez and Gavin Britton; five great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Noah Martinez, Ethan and Alyson Braun and Eliana Bandu; several special nieces and nephews and her dear friend of 50 years, Margaret Richmond.
Helen was in the civil service at Fort Carson until she retired at the age of 59. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved and cared for her family deeply.
Services will be held at Swan Law Funeral Directors Cascade Chapel (501 N. Cascade). Visitation will be Friday, April 10 from 5p-7p followed by followed by the prayer of the Rosary at 7p. The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 11 at 11:30 am with the entombment to follow at The Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E. Fountain Blvd).
