Heather Jeanne Leonard

Heather was born September 14th 1977 to Robert C and Holly J Leonard of Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a child she enjoyed the outdoors; the Colorado sun highlighting her blonde hair and bright smile. Later in life that bright smile would bring comfort and spark friendships where ever she went, especially with-in her AA community. Heather was dedicated to the program and worked tirelessly on her steps. She died clean and sober. Her family is very proud of her.

Heather was a loving mother, (and at times father) to her five children, and grandson, her children were the work and love of her life. Heather is preceded in death by her Mother Holly Jeanne Leonard. She is survived by her father, Robert C Leonard, sister Kimberly A Graves, daughter Alicia Anne Peña, son Adam James Peña Jr., son Brennan Scott Perieda, Son Ayden Lee Perieda, daughter Isabella Jeanne Leonard, and Grandson Alan David Wilson III.

Although in our earthly eyes her life was cut far too short, we know she is basking in the light and love of our Lord surrounded by her loved ones.
