Harold L Olson of Colorado Springs, Colorado died Saturday, September 26, 2015 after several years of declining health.
Harold was born February 2, 1928 in South Dakota to Fannie (Erb) Olson and Paul H. Olson. As a young man he joined the Merchant Marines and later fought in Korea as a member of the U.S. Army. He was an electrician and member of IBEW Local 113 for over sixty years. During that time he owned Olson Electric in Buena Vista, Colorado.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife Barbara (Babcock) Olson, brothers Floyd Olson and Roland Olson as well as a sister Irma (Olson) Johnson. Survivors include four daughters, Nancy Worthington, Judy (Bruce) Unger, Peggy (Terry) Carter, Kristy Olson; four grandchildren, Melissa, Sarah, Daniel and Amanda and four great grandchildren, as well as his sister Dorothy (Olson) Osborn and many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
