Gwendolyn "Delories" Heyliger

Delories was born one of eight children in Newton County, GA to Lonnie and Marie Guthrie.

Delories loved to dance and try new things. She and her husband, Ted Heyliger, had multiple businesses in Cripple Creek, Colorado to include a hotel, a motel and a grocery store.

Delories was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Heyliger; their oldest child, Theodore Heyliger, Jr.; her parents; and her five siblings.

She leaves behind two children, Howard Heyliger and Laura Hallas; along with six grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Delories will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

In lieu of gifts and flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to support groundbreaking research to end Parkinson's Disease for good.
