Frank Jamison Jr.

April 28, 2013 at the age of 93. He was born on March 19, 1920 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to the late Jessie and Frank H. Jamison, Sr.

Frank married Vera Rhodabeck on December 8, 1944 in Oskaloosa, IA. They were happily married for almost 67 years, before her passing on November 6, 2011. Vera was the love of his life, and he is now reunited with her in heaven. After his retirement from the U.S. Postal Service, they traveled to many places in the United States as well as foreign countries. He loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him in many capacities at Roswell Community Church to include being a faithful member of the Board of Trustees for many years and a dedicated and worthy Elder. Frank served his country during World War II in the Navy. He was proud to be an American and rarely missed a day flying the US flag in the front yard of his home. Frank enjoyed camping, a rousing game of uno with special neighbors, church functions, and spending time with his family.

Surviving him are his three sons John (Carolyn), Dan (Terry) and Mike (Sheila). He is also survived by 9 grand children, 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vera, his parents, and his two sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, from 12:00-1:00 pm at Roswell Community Church, with funeral services starting at 1:00 pm at the church. Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
