Francis “Frank” A. Sinde, SSgt. Ret., US Army, 77, of Colorado Springs passed away April 27, 2014. He was born December 17, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Francis Sr. and Eleanore (Tokarski) Sinde. He was the oldest of 6. He joined the Army after high school and served two terms in Viet Nam along with many other heroic accomplishments during his service. While stationed in Okinawa he met his future wife Yoshi on the beach. They were married October 1, 1956. They had three children, all born in Okinawa. In 1964 the family made their first move back to the United States. The last time would be in 1974. Frank is survived by his wife Yoshi; his daughters Catherine and Eleanor; his brother Marvin; 6 grand kids and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Francis “Dicky” Sinde and his brothers William, Robert, Marshall, and Timothy.
There will be a visitation and service for Frank on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00am at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in the Chapel.
