Ernesto “Ernie” Arispe, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2016, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Converse, Texas, December 4, 1934, youngest of three children born to Manuel and Guadalupe Arispe.
Ernie joined United States Air Force at age 20 and was a proud veteran of 21 years. Upon his military retirement he drove busses for Colorado Transit Management for 20 years, Union Chapter 13.
Ernie enjoyed time spending time with his nearest and dearest and barbecuing at family functions. He found pleasure in traveling in his motor home to Texas, Arizona, and several excursions with his grandchildren.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, devoted wife, Estella Arispe; loving children, Edward of Colorado Springs, Ann (Jon) Martin of Colorado Springs, Teresa (Tim) Reese of Colorado Springs, Vivian (Michael) DeBolt of Denver, Sonia Westfall of Universal City, Texas, and Ernest (Brooke) Arispe of Tucson, Arizona; Grandchildren Angela (Tony) Calloura, Brianna Scott, Melanie (Michael) Keigher, Jenny (Matthew) Rial, Richard Hogan, Manuel (Tina) Reese, Michael, Tara, and Allison Debolt, Brian (Kaylee) Westfall, Brittanie (Ruben) Perez,and Asher and Zev Arispe; Great-grandchildren Trevor, Reiley, Taylor, Jordyn, Liam, and Carter Reese, Maeson and Maverick Keigher, Daniel and Anthony Calloura, Gable and Griffin Rial, and Cierra and Levi Hogan, and Nolan and Shylei Westfall.
