born to Gregorio and Feliz Duran in Tres Piedras, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents,
ten siblings, and husband, Donald Mathis.
She is survived by her two children, Leona Broussard, and Valdamar Gallegos Jr, two granddaughters, Laura Yniguez and Holly Gallegos, six great grandchildren, and sister, Lola Tursi.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Rd, Colorado Springs. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
