Eloy was born March 24th, 1954, in Avondale, Colorado to Hube and Orbelia Medina. Eloy was the second child of five children. Leo Joseph Medina (Vera), Dolores Medina, Mabel Torres, and Jaclyn Medina Robertson.
Growing up in Colorado Springs and being close to the mountains, Eloy learned how to fish as a young boy, and he loved fishing and camping into his later years. During the last 12 years or so he picked up an additional hobby, which was playing Golf. Eloy worked for Western Forge for thirty years making Craftsman hand tools, afterwards he worked his own business, Custom Creations, in which he dressed up cars and trucks installing Nerf bars, Spoilers, Pin striping and other add-ons.
Eloy attended Palmer High school until 1970. Eloy met his ex-wife, Magdalen Crespin, in early 1975 in Colorado Springs, CO. They were married in August 31st,1975, in Colorado Springs. Together they had 2 daughters. Brandi Jo Medina Burt (Gerald) and Valerie Elaine Medina Charron (Arthur).
Eloy is survived by his 4 siblings, Leo Joseph, Dolores, Mabel, and Jaclyn. His daughters, Brandi and Valerie, three Grandsons, Demetri Medina (Brandi’s son). Austin Mireles (Paige) and Lucas Martinez (Asusena) (both Valerie’s sons). One Great-Grandson, Jessie Mireles and Great-Granddaughter, Julianna Mireles.
Eloy is also survived by three Nephews, Joseph M. Medina (Leo’s son), Anthony Torres (Maria) and Nicolas Sesmundo (Allison) (Mabel’s sons). One Niece, Emma Robertson Saiz (Brant) (Jaclyn’s daughter). One Great-Nephew, Angelo Michael Medina, (Christina Medina’s son).
Eloy is preceded in passing by his Parents, Hube and Orbelia Medina. Niece, Christina Medina, and her first son, Senovio Medina.
A Memorial Service for Eloy will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (Security-Widefield Congregation), 1150 Crandall Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.
