Elmer Engle passed away on October 9, 2017. Elmer was born in Cumberland, Maryland on July 11, 1922. He was in the Army Timber wolfs in WWII. Upon returning he was stationed at Fort Carson and met the love of his life Dorothy Cox. Elmer and Dorothy were married for 70 years. He is survived by his children, Chuck Engle, Sue Roman and Cheryl Meisner. His 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Reception will be following the funeral at DAV hall, Knob Hill Chapter 26, on the corner of Palmer Park and Peterson Road (enter the side of the bingo doors). In lieu of flowers please donate to the DAV, Laurel Manor, or Pikes Peak Hospice.
