Earlene L. Herman

Earlene Loretta Herman of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2020. She was born on November 3, 1926 in Pawnee, OK. She married the love of her life, Jerry Herman in 1949 and had 70 years of being very happily married. Jerry preceded her in death by exactly 30 days. They traveled all over the country & the world together for both career & leisure.

Earlene was a true people person and had several careers all involving teaching. She attended Cottey College and earned a degree in Economics from Long Beach City College and later a Masters in Economics from Oklahoma University. She was a high school teacher in Oklahoma City for many years and won several awards for excellence in teaching. She was a Color & Image Consultant for Color Me Beautiful in Colorado Springs for 30 years and remained friends with most of her customers.

Earlene enjoyed hosting dinner and cocktail parties, shopping for herself & family, traveling to new places and sharing what she learned with family & friends.

She is survived by her children, Linda Herman and Lawrence Herman, grandchildren Michael Wisner, Alicia Wisner and Elizabeth Di Fede, great grandchildren Layla King, Logan DiFede and Andrew Wisner, as well as several nieces & nephews.
