I just learned of your passing today. My heart is broken in learning this news. You were the best of best teacher. I witnessed this everyday for 10 years, you helped me so very much, year book that we spent countless hours working on, the Freedom Shrine we put together,student council,and the many GOLDEN BELL camping trips we put todether, some many countless activities that went along with our everyday teaching. One of my best moments, trying to decide the color of our camping shirts. You will hold a special place in my heart. You had the best husband "BILL" and kids. God has a special Place for you in heaven.

Donna--it was such a delight to lnow you these past few years.   You had such a great sense of humor and our "playground chats" were always such fun.   You had such a special connection with our children.  We will miss your big smile and fun loving nature.   Thank you for your honest and caring way.  No doubt you are teaching all the precious ones from Sandy Hook in heaven.  Rest in peace dear Donna.

My Dearest Ya-Ya Sister,

You were the sister that I never had! We shared a room at Pike Elementary, we shared our February birthdays, we shared our love of children, and so much more. I love you, Donna, and I will forever hold your memory close to my heart. To know you was to see the special light and love that you radiated. The newest "love" of your life were your beautiful grandchildren whose lives were richer because of you. May the angels cradle you in their arms and keep you safe.

We are so honored to have know and loved Donna.  We were blessed by her genorous spirit and love.  Prayers and hugs to all of you.

You certainly were the light of my life for the years we were lucky enough to work together with our little ones as Speech Pathologists. It's not everyone who can truthfully say....I get to work with my best friend every single day! Thank you for providing me friendship, partnership and being my soulmate during those great years. You will be sorely missed, my beautiful Donna.

We will all walk through life with a bigger heart having known Donna.  She touched so many people's lives.  With this loss comes so many layers of heartache.  Deepest condolences.

It was an honor to be associated with Donna,a treasured speech-language pathologist in School District 11.  Her warmth radiated and her skills and devotion to her family, friends, colleagues, and students was a gift.  I send special thoughts to her family during this difficult time.
