Don A. Garcia

Don A. Garcia 78 of Colorado Springs passed away on March 4, 2015. Don was born in Center, Colorado to Pinio and Estella Garcia on October 10, 1936. Don leaves behind his wife of over 58 years Isabel M. Garcia, daughter Yolanda Garcia, grandson, to whom he was like a father to Gerry Garcia and great grandchildren, Alyssia, Angelo, Jaden and Dominic. Don was one of ten brothers and five sisters. Don was a construction laborer and owned his own concrete core drilling business for many years. He loved camping and fishing with his family. Don was father figure to many people and respected throughout the community. A Rosary Service will be held, Monday, March 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, located at 2715 E. Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909, with a Funeral Mass, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, located at 2715 E. Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. A reception will be held following services on Tuesday at The Knights of Columbus located at 567 Marquette Dr., Security, CO. 80911. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Don's name to US Bank acct #103683282869 care of Isabel Garcia to assist with funeral expenses.
