Dave is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, daughter, Arleen Priddy and granddaughter, Tara Rogers. He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Schramek and Donna Rogers. Also surviving Dave, are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Dave owned and operated the Cliff Dwellings Museum in Manitou Springs from 1956 to 1986. He was a member of the Pikes Peak Attractions Association and President of Miramont Castle in Manitou Springs from 1986-1991. He was a pillar of the community and was always available to help anyone that needed it.
His great love was his family and taking care of them. Dad, you did an amazing job, good and faithful servant.
The family would like to thank the staff, caregivers and residents of Morning Star Assisted Living for their care and love for Dave. Also, a thank you to all the caregivers at New Century Hospice for their care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 6th, at 3:00pm, at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Navigators.
