David R. Musgrave

Nov. 26, 1959 Ft. Collins - March 30, 2022 Colorado Springs

Beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend. David is survived by his parents, Ron and Barb Musgrave, sisters Diane Meeks (Andy) and Linda Tomberlin (Gregg) 6 nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

David grew up and lived his whole life in the Fountain/Colorado Springs area. He graduated from the Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation Center, held several jobs throughout his life and was proud of the paychecks he earned.

Dave participated in several Special Olympics sports and was a big sports fan reading the sports section daily.

He had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii and Disneyland and would fly to Phoenix to visit his parents every winter.

Dave lived independently with roommates and also on his own at one time, and as he aged he lived with host families. He had loving care givers later in life. David’s family is so grateful to the Garcia family and Cheyenne Village.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 12 at 1:00, at the First United Methodist Church of Fountain.
