Daniel Todd Cooley

Daniel Cooley, 54, passed away on June 10, 2023, in Monument, Co. Daniel was born on October 8, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas, to Daniel and Susan Cooley. He was the loving father of Samantha Joy Cooley, brother of Jim Bennett (Siria), Jennifer Andrews (Thomas), and Christopher Cooley (Kate). Dan will be deeply missed by his family and numerous friends.

Dan was a gregarious and compassionate man with a great sense of humor and sarcasm. He had a great love for his family, friends, his country, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dan's faith was important to him, and he worshiped at Rocky Mountain Calvary and shared the word with anyone and everyone he met.

Dan was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed studying the word of God, skiing, making and enjoying music, attending concerts, movies, and golfing. He also loved adding bling to his truck, grill, hats, or anything else he could place Christmas lights on; and why wouldn't you! Dan was a proud military brat and enjoyed learning about different cultures, traditions, foods, and ways of life.

Dan's greatest love was his daughter, Samantha Joy. He loved watching her grow into a young lady and took great pride in all of her many accomplishments. She was his absolute pride and joy.

Dan is survived by his father, Daniel Cooley, mother, Susan Cooley, daughter, Samantha Joy Cooley, brother, Jim Bennett (Siria), sister, Jennifer Andrews (Thomas), brother, Christopher Cooley (Kate), former wife, Diana Cooley, and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Goforth, grandmother, Nancy Goforth, grandfather, Robert Cooley, grandmother, Emily Cooley, uncle, Roy Cooley, cousin, Katelynn Goforth, and multiple other family members.

Family and friends are invited to join us in a celebration of life at Rocky Mountain Calvary Church located at 4285 N. Academy Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80918 on July 7th at 3.00 p.m.

In honor of Dan, we request that you wear Dallas Cowboy attire (colors) or University of Texas attire (colors).
