Cynthia Kay Ahner, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on July 20, 2018, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in the Fort Leavenworth Army Hospital, Kansas, March 14, 1957, the eldest of three children born to Melvin C and Reba K Moore.
Cynthia attended high school in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and moved to Sault Ste Marie Michigan, where she worked as a photographer's assistant, before marrying her husband of 42 years, Michael Ahner. She enjoyed traveling, and making new friends wherever she went.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, loving children Michael Roland Ahner, and Brian Christianson, of Escanaba Michigan, sisters Brenda Breth, Meadville, Pennsylvania, and Valerie Hill, Mt Pleasant, South Carolina, and a host of precious grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
