Connie was born in Colorado Springs to Shelby and Sylvia Back on May 23, 1955. She graduated from Calhan High School in 1973 and attended PPI Health Career School where she earned a certificate as a Medical Assistant. Connie worked many jobs but her most important was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She served on local boards at Miami-Yoder School Board, and Colorado Cattle Women. She was loved by so many people a legacy all of us can only hope for, Connie had a heart of gold!
Connie is survived by her husband, Ted Phipps, children, Dierdre Dias and Clinton Phipps, brother, Larry Back, and grandchildren, Tristan Harris and Karah Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Sylvia Back, and her brother, Steve Back.
Funeral services will be held at Church on the Ranch on January 27th at 10::00am with Scott Vaughn officiating. Burial at Memorial Gardens will take place at a later time.
