Connie Lee Espander

Connie, born on July 25th, 1947 to Jay and Ellen Espander in Colorado Springs, she immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Connie went on to graduate from Palmer High School in 1965. She was a fiercely dedicated mom to her children, raising 2 of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Connie, a value she instilled in all those around her. Connie’s talents were many, she was a National ice skating champion in Free Style, Ice Dance and Speed Skating. Connie was a longstanding member of the Broadmoor Skating Club and the Professional Skating Association. She became a figure skating coach, and extremely accomplished business owner of Expressions by Konne’ where she designed and produced apparel for figure skaters, ice dancers, and dance teams worldwide.

The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Connie was predeceased by her father, Jay Espander; Stepmom Pat Espander; mother, Ellen Higgins and stepdad Chuck Higgins; and brother, John Espander.

She is survived by husband, Jay Goodman; children, Charles Autrey(Leeann Autrey), Tina Haga(Chris Haga) and grandchildren Chazz Autrey, Zachary Autrey, Kimberly Autrey, Britny Haga, Noah Haga and Zachery Haga; and great-grandchildren, Audrey Krause, Nash Haga, Stevie Haga and Jackson Autrey.

Connie is greatly missed by family and close friends.
