Christopher Vairin, beloved son and sibling, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 7, 2017 in his home in Littleton, Colorado. He was born in Denver, Colorado on October 11, 1969 to Charles and Joan Vairin, their third and youngest child.
Chris graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1988, where he excelled and played varsity hockey. After graduation, he attended the University of Colorado, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992, and then furthered his education at Northwestern University dental school, where he graduated in 1996. He became a general dentist and TMJ specialist in Lakewood, Colorado, where his practice grew until he recently sold it and became semi-retired. Chris was a brilliant and conscientious dentist and gave generously of his time to help many people. He was known for his kindness and high professional standards, and never turned anyone away who needed care, often staying until the late hours.
Chris loved hockey, his guitar and was a caring dog owner to many lucky dogs. He leaves behind his mother and father, Joan and Charles Vairin, his siblings, Alison Cote’ and Bryan Vairin, and his dog Lou, in addition to his nephews Nick, Alex and Evan, many friends, and family members.
