Charles Elliott Banks Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved husband, Charles Elliott Banks Jr., 59., Mr. Banks served in the US Navy. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Banks was born August 28, 1964, in Oklahoma, to Charles and Rose Banks. His mother survives and lives in Colorado Springs.

He was married Jan. 13, 2000, in Colorado Springs to Carnecia Williams Banks, who survives.

Charles was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children, sharing stories and watching their favorite TV shows. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced.

Other survivors include one daughter Roshere M. Banks of Colorado Springs: one son Charles Elliott Banks III of Colorado Springs; 2 sisters Yolanda B. Walker and Charlisa M. Stewart, all of Colorado Springs; two brothers David A. Banks and Lamont R. Banks, all of Colorado Springs. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Elliott Banks Sr., and two sisters Lawanna B. Clark and Lanita B. Pee.

Mr. Banks graduated from Roy J. Wasson, class of 1983. He continued his education receiving his bachelor’s at DeVry University and 2 MBAs from Colorado Technical University.
