Charlene "Charly" Phillips

Charly was born on October 3rd, 1972, in Denver Colorado, to Donald and Donna Rawson, as a little sister to Susan Rawson. She grew up on the family farm in the Calhan Township. After graduating from Calhan high school, she attended Intelletec Medical College in Colorado Springs, achieving her associates degree and becoming a Registered Medical Assistant, and worked with different facilities and care-givers.

Charly married William C. Phillips on April 22, 2005, in Muscatine Iowa, and even though they weren't given the blessing of children, loved their fur-baby Aimig with all their hearts.

Charly is survived by her husband William, dog-daughter Aimig, nephews Daniel and David, and

great-nephew Frederick. She is preceded in death by her Father Donald, Mother Donna, and sister Susan.

After marriage, Charly and William moved from their home in Muscatine Iowa, moving around the United States with Williams Job in the U.S. Army. Their travels took them to Virginia, Washington, and then back to the family residence in Calhan.

Outside of work, Charly loved filling her time with word searches, velvet coloring posters, and reading.

She loved laughing with friends and family, spending time with her baby Aimig, and absolutely anything in the shade of pink.

Visitation will be held at Swan Law Funeral home, on Tuesday, November 3rd, from 5-7pm. The service will also be at Swan Law, to follow on Wednesday, November 4th, at 10am. Burial service will follow at Calhan cemetery, and will conclude with a lunch at the Phillips residence, at 24645 Judge orr rd, Calhan, CO 80808.
