Carol M. Curtis Passed away at home unexpectedly on October 17, 2016.
Carol is survived by her husband of twenty- four years Lenny Schmidt, her niece Joann, her lab buddy and countless friends who hold her as family and will miss her dearly.
Carol was a graduate of Cheyenne Mtn. H. S. and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Co. State University. She worked as a paralegal for the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, as a judicial clerk for the District Court and for the law offices of Daniel and Thomas.
She enjoyed tennis, golf, Cripple Creek and animals and had only recently retired so she and Lenny could enjoy more time traveling with his grandchildren.
A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
