There’s just not enough postive words in the world to be able to describe how wonderful of a person Carlos was. I was fortunate enough to meet Carlos three years ago at the beginning of my college journey. He was my roomates boyfriend who prefaced his inital introduction with a censor warning and told us “he can sometimes be a lot to take in” and he was in fact a lot to take in 😂 but in the best way possible!! Carlos filled the room with laughter and joy each time he entered it regardless of the day or situation.  As the years went on all the roomates and boyfriends became closer and closer and Carlos always joked he would be the last one standing out of all the boyfriend’s which in all honesty he really would’ve 😂 Carlos was there to witness multiple heartbreaks, bad days and celebrations. I never felt like I had to hide any parts of my self from him and felt safe telling him everything under the sun of how I was feeling and what I was going through. He really was my therapist at a point in time and i still love the fact that he would sit there and listen to me complain about the same boy over and over again and not tell me to shut up about it already. Carlos, there hasn’t been a single day since you left earthside that I haven’t thought about you and the amazing impact you had on not only me but the people around you. You will always mean so much to me and I’m incredibly grateful that I was able to experience having you in my life. I’ll forever miss my girly pop talks with my girl Carlita and cherish the memories that we got to make. Until we meet again my friend❤️ 






Carlos was the glue to our little family in Greeley. He wasn't just Jillian's boyfriend but also one of our best friends. He was always the one who stuck around no matter what, and he let all of us girls know he was tired of meeting all our new boyfriends. Carlos was our listening ear and shoulder to cry on. After a breakup, Carlos was the first person I saw. And he did exactly what everyone would expect from him, giving me the biggest hug, letting me cry, and saying all the right things. Especially "Do I need to go beat him up?" That is just who Carlos was, the most loving and caring man to his friends and family. He would've done anything to protect us and our hearts. Last summer, we visited Miami with Carlos. I will never forget how happy and excited he was to share his special place with us. When we sit around and talk about our favorite memories together, Carlos is a part of every one. He was always there cheering us girls on, making us laugh, and taking care of us. I am so thankful I could share the last few years with Carlos and call him one of my best friends. Carlos never failed to put a smile on all our faces, and no one ever made us laugh harder than he had. The impact he has on all of our lives is beyond words. He was truly a light in everyone's lives, and I thank him for making mine so bright. We will love him forever and always! 

Carlos has been around since my first year of college when Jillian introduced us back in the dorm. He was always there regardless of the circumstances. Carlos wasn't just Jillian's boyfriend but to my friends and I; he was also one of the besties. I have so many memories with Carlos from these last three years. Some of my favorite memories were at the first house that Jillian, I, and our other two roommates had lived at. Carlos was always at our home. We loved that he was there not only cause we enjoyed his presence but because he often would present us with a full-course meal. He had such a big heart and always wanted to make others happy. Last summer, we all went on a trip to Miami. One of my favorite memories from Miami was when we went to a bar, and Carlos got a margarita that was as big as his head. That same summer, we went to the Greeley stampede, where we rode rides and went to a small petting zoo. We also always loved going to a restaurant that is famous in Greeley called Roma's. Whenever we went there, we would always play our favorite game, Heads Up. We would always get really into it and end up being the loudest group of people in the restaurant. I have so many unforgettable memories from college, and I am happy that Carlos is a part of them. He truly did know how to make a mark on our lives, and we will forever love him and cherish all the memories that we created with him.

to the one and only brother that has been there through thick and thin through the hard times and fun times and has to not yet give up on me and never will I love you bro I miss you and I would do anything to have you back on this planet with me but for now until we meet again please keep on protecting me. I hope you have fun with your dad you deserve it. I love you Carlos you are now not only my older brother but my guardian angel and light. I promise to keep mom and the family safe as you keep the rest of us safe. You have my word on that, and of course, until we meet again, big dawg stay safe

My dear, sweet and lovely son. There is nothing I can write here that will give me a sense of why you are no longer here with me. You made me a mother, you changed my life. We grew up together. I learned so much from you. You were and always will be my first true love. Because of you I am the woman I am today. I know that we will meet again in the  light of the Lord. 
As days pass and I talk to your friends I learn so much more of you. I learn that you were a person who always encouraged others not just your family. I love you so much.  You touched peoples hearts in a way that makes me so proud to be your mother. Thank you for choosing me as your mom. Thank you for sharing 21 years of you with me.  Thank you for being YOU.

This was just another photo on Christmas day that I took with him it really was just a special day filled with love, laughter, and of course food!

This was at the 49er and Bronco game when Freddy wanted to make a bet when the Broncos were winning but when they lost he said, and I quote "Thank God I didn't make that bet with you guys" Then we all laughed 

This was one of my favorite memories with my whole family, we went bowling and had so much fun together, we laughed and had so much fun.

This day was so magical and amazing. It was tio Alex's and Lindsey's wedding day, me Carlos and Jill stayed by each other and laughed the whole night. 

This was on Christmas day, it was such a good Christmas and I'm so glad I got to spend it with him and the rest of my family. :)

There are so much memories we had suck as having sleepovers play sports together to playing video games I had learned everything mostly off of him sense he is gone now I will not let him down to be the older brother and protecting the family now I look up to him he is my inspiration and whatever I do ik I'll make him proud

Son, words cannot express what I'm feeling right now. All I know is that I love you so much,  and you left us way to soon. You will forever be in my heart and always in my thoughts. Until the day we meet again, keep an eye out for me and mom, and protect your brothers and sisters like you always have. ❤️ I miss you and love you so much. 

Carlos was like an older brother to me. He was the first person I told anything to, and if I need advice he was there to give it. He was a nerdy person and always loved hanging out with us. Whether it was playing video games or card games or even playing sports he would always make time to hangout with us.

Oh, how fun can vacations be, Carlos and I (Alec) would always be inseparable at vacations 

Carlos was the best boyfriend I could have ever asked for. He did everything with so much love. He had the most beautiful and powerful energy that filled up every room. We started dating sophomore year of high school. I am so blessed to have loved him for the last five years of his life. We went through a lot of big life events together like graduating high school and moving out of our parents house. Carlos was always there to help me move in and out of my houses. Really, he moved me out of all of my houses because everytime I would try and help he would tell me I was doing it wrong and just to let him do it😂. He knew ikea furniture is not my specialty😂. Carlos and I got to go on a few vacations together to Arizona and Miami. Those vacations are some of my best memories with him. He always did everything he could for the people he cared about. He had such a beautiful soul and heart. Carlos always brought me to his family events, and his family became my family. Carlos, I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me, your love will stay with me forever. I love you so much.

Carlos you had such a beautiful soul, and I'm feel so blessed that I was able watch you grow up into a wonderful young man, and I'm so lucky that I can call you nephew. You will always be in my heart, and you will be remembered always and you will never be forgotten. Fly high with the angels and always watch over you're loved ones. We love you so much Carlos. I always knew I could talk Pokedex with you from a young age. You never needed to be the center of attention. You were so happy to just be included. Josh and I loved that we could always just seek you out and chill and chat. You had an amazing presence that will be dearly missed at every family function.

To my big brother Carlos, words can not express how much I love and appreciate you. You were always there for me through my ups and downs but always stayed by my side. You were one of the kindest people I've ever met, you always lit up a room when you walked in or even just smiled. Your smile always reminded me of Mom's, I always thought yall had similar smiles, that's why I loved it so much. Your kind heart always made me happy and everyone around me. All of the memories we had were great its just sad it had to end to fast.     

Carlos always had the biggest smile and gave the best hugs. When he came to visit he always made sure to say ”I love you Auntie”. 
He was a ray of sunshine and love every time we saw him without fail. 
Whatever the circumstances he made time for family. 
That’s what I’ll miss most about him.

While we hadn't spoken in a little bit since I moved from Colorado, Carlos was always one of the most trusting and loving people a i was friends with throughout high school. To say that his happiness and great spirit for everything will be missed is a complete understatement. I love you always bro❤️

Nephew, I was truly proud to be a part of your life and see the man you grew to become. It's been hard coming to grips with the idea that I won't be able to laugh with you again or see your smile. I've always loved you and regret not spending more of the precious time we had. You took a lot on your shoulders from such a young age and carried it with such internal strength. You were undeniably a great brother, who was alway there for his siblings. The light you shared will shine through all you touched and you will forever be missed.

May he Rest In Peace and may Jesus give his family members strength during this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss. 

The last thing Carlos said to me was “I love you auntie,” every time we said goodbye, without fail. He gave the best hugs. I love you, Carlos. I will remember you smiling down at my baby in your arms, telling me how much you already loved her, eyes full of wonder, heart full of joy.

I had Carlos in my writing class in 7th and 8th grade.  Even though he had a rough first year, he started to meet his potential the 8th grade year.

He also knew how/when to joke in class.  I was coming off an ankle surgery to start his 8th grade year where I had screws put in.  He had asked if magnets would stick to it, and I had to wait until I got my cast off to break the news that no, they would not.  He was mainly impressed that I tried.

One of the things I think about him more than anything is that smile.  Even when he was not doing great, that smile was always there.

It is hard to lose a family member, but especially one so young.  The family is in my thoughts and prayers.




Carlos was such an amazingly bright light in this world who loved his family and friends beyond measure. Sweet Carlos you will be missed so very much.  We love you💚

Carlos was such a fun and respectful guy. I remember in middle school he used to make the staff laugh daily. “Los” became friends with my son and was very supportive. They went to separate schools for a couple years and then reconnected when my son transferred to PC. He met us at registration and helped my son and I find our way around the school. He went out of his way to always give a hug and a smile. We are so saddened to hear that his light has left us. Thinking of the family 💕
