Bobby Gene Spradlin, born August 21, 1933 in Tram, KY to Albert and Grace (Davis) Spradlin, passed away April 27, 2014 in Colorado Springs. He served in the US Air Force and retired as a Staff Sergeant. He was a food service supervisor for the military and also for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department in his civil career. Bob is survived by his wife Mary; sons John, Robert, Thomas, Richard, Charles; daughter Diana; brothers Samuel and Hershel; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara and his brother Albert AKA “Junior”. Visitation will be Thursday May 1 from 5 to 7pm at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Security, CO. The rosary will begin at 7pm. Bob’s funeral mass will be Friday May 2 at 10:00am, also at St.Dominic’s, with full military honors. Burial will be Tuesday, May 6 at 11:00am at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
