Betty Jo Whitlock, age 91, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. Betty was born on August 19, 1931, in Caddo Mills, Texas. She graduated from Caddo Mills High School. She was married to the love of her life, Donny, for almost 71 years. They spent most of their married life in Mesquite, Texas until they moved to Colorado Springs in 1995.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus Gordon Clack and Roxye Leona Clack. She is survived by husband, Donny Whitlock, daughter, Donna Stanton and her husband, BJ Stanton, grandsons, Spencer Stanton and Stuart Stanton, and great grandchildren, Connor Stanton, Cassidy Stanton, Molly Stanton, Benjamin Stanton, Eli Stanton, and Hannah Stanton. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
A funeral service for Betty will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910, followed by a committal service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
