Betty J Fisher

Betty Jane Fisher, 84, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Betty was born on April 15, 1929 in Benton Township, Missouri, to Thomas and Martha (Martin) Bryant. She was united in marriage to George N. Fisher, Sr. on May 18, 1947 in Greensburg, Missouri. In 1952 they moved to Illinois and in 1966 moved to Muscatine, Iowa. Prior to their relocation to Colorado in 1986.

Those left to honor her memory include one sister, Barbara Hayward; sons George (Cheryl) Fisher Jr., of Muscatine, Iowa; Terry (Karla) Fisher of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Steve (Sheryl) Fisher of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughters Linda Burke of Muscatine, Iowa; Joyce Brugman (William) of Muscatine, Iowa; and Connie Ahr (Larry) of Queen Creek, Arizona; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and one sister.
