Bette Ann Anderson

Bette A. Anderson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on April 20, 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born in Rockford, IL June 16, 1923, the only child of Edythe and Herbert Beckman

Bette graduated from East High School in Rockford, IL in 1941. After high school she attended secretarial school and later married Sterling Anderson. Together they owned and operated The Spirit of ’76 in Belvidere, IL.

She is predeceased by her husband Sterling and daughter Mary Kay.

She leaves behind her loving children Sharon Gorman of Morgantown, WV, Michael Anderson of Mechanicsburg, PA and Suzette Jacobs of Colorado Springs, CO and grandchildren Carrie, Mike, Sara, Kate, Zoe, Scott, Chad, Ashley and Kyle; as well as a host of great grandchildren and friends.

Visitation will be April 25 from 2:00-4:00pm at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Services will follow at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Federation for the Blind.
