Annelle Johnson Clark (Anne), 97 died peacefully in her sleep at Someren Glen in Centennial, CO on November 7, 2021. She was born September 15, 1924 in Wilmington, NC. Daughter of I.K. Johnson and Lula (Lewis) Johnson. She was married to Edward Ricard Clark, Jr. from August 24, 1946 until his death April 2, 1980. She was predeceased by her brother I.K. Johnson, Jr. She was survived by sons Edward Richard Clark, III (Rick) and wife Donna Mae Clark of Mesa, CO; Stephen J Clark and wife Sandra R Clark of Centennial, CO; David M. Clark and wife Linda Miller of Denver, CO; Daughter Janet E Clark and Partner Elyse Parker of Grand Junction, CO; Six grandchildren and spouses, Jacob and Andre Clark, Natalie and Jason Whitesides; Scott DeMarco; Shaela Moen and Dan Nusz; Samantha and Joey Ruybalid; and Daniel Moen. She also enjoyed seven Great grandchildren: Sophie, Aaron, & Asher Clark; Jaida & Zoie Whitesides; Dominic & Michael Ruybalid
Mom was a supportive Military wife lived in Raleigh, NC; Macon, GA Tokyo, Japan; Athens, GA; Wiesbaden, Germany, Colorado Springs, CO and finally Centennial, Co.
Mom was the queen of Volunteers having more than 30 years w/ Family Services at Peterson AFB, Silver Key, Meals on Wheels, She loved singing and shared her beautiful soprano voice for 30 years in the Choir at the Protestant Chapel at Pete AFB and 4 years w/ Our Father Lutheran Church in Centennial.
Mom also enjoyed travel including trips to Europe, Mexico and the Middle East. In her later years she even surprised us by riding through the Rockies on the back of a motorcycle. She was determined to be strong and independent.
She enjoyed family time and meals of tacos and pizza—accompanied by a glass of white wine. And of course Chocolate… Anytime!
