Andrew Robert Bennett

Mr. Bennett was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 28, 1933 to Andrew and Sarah Bennett who are deceased. He married Noma Polk on February 12, 1971. They have 11 children.

He is survived by his wife, Noma and seven sons, Patrick, Michael, Thomas, Larry, Dan (Lori), Robert (Patty) and Scott (Denise); three daughters, Terri (Michael) Olson, Cathy Bennett and Andrea (Aaron) Larson; a daughter-in-law, Uschi Bennett of Germany as well as one sister, Martha (George) Clark; two sisters-in-law, Betty Polk and Mildred (Lloyd) Sisk; one brother-in-law, Bill (Nancy) Polk. Andrew also has fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Andrew is preceded in death by his son, Steven Bennett.

Mr. Bennett was a Number One fan of the Nebraska Corn Huskers. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2013 from 5-7pm with a Rosary at 6pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Black Forest at 11:00 am with the burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
