She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1937. In 1942 she married her love, Gerald A. Cannon and had 4 children. After the war they farmed in Nebraska until 1967, then moved to Colorado Springs, where they spent the rest of their lives.
Anastasia was devoted to her Catholic Faith, her husband, her children, grandchildren and extended family. She had a gift for listening intently and loving unconditionally. She loved the mountains, dancing, and any opportunity to get the family together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her four brothers and one grandson. She is survived by her 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mount St. Francis Nursing Center.
Services will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Starting at 10:00 am.
