Virgie Elaine Robertson Goodlett

Colorado City – Mrs. Virgie Goodlett, age 75, of Colorado City, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010, in a local hospital. Services will be at 10 AM Monday, August 9, 2010, in the 22nd & Austin Sts Church of Christ with Royce Clay Sr and Royce Clay Jr officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunn Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Goodlett was born April 9, 1935 in Teague, TX to Charles Robertson and Maurine Pierce and had been a lifelong resident of Colorado City. She married Charles Goodlett on August 3, 1954. She was a member of the 22nd & Austin Sts Church of Christ, Friends of Mitchell County Library, Mitchell County Historical Commission, Retired Teachers Association, CC Riders Car Club and Big Spring Region Antique Automobile Club.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Goodlett of Colorado City, 2 daughters: Patty and husband, Allen Pharis of Colorado City and Charlotte and husband, Tim Little of Lewisville, TX; 4 grandchildren: Cade and wife Lori Pharis, Lindsey and husband, Cody Carver, Ashley Little and Courtney and husband Gregg Johnson; 3 great grandchildren: Raney and Haden Pharis and Luke Carver and many special cousins.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home
