Tati was born on December 4, 1950 in Pawnee, Texas. Her family moved to this area when she was younger and she spent the remainder of her life in Westbrook. She graduated from Westbrook High School. She worked in numerous places over the years, from working in the fields to being a cook. Tati was a great cook her job cooking fit her well. However her loving, nurturing peaceful personality showed best in her devotion as a caregiver to numerous family members through the years. She was a faithful Christian woman and held a firm faith in Jesus Christ. She lived a beautiful modest life that was the perfect example of a Godly woman. She was an avid gardener enjoyed tending to her roses. She shared a special connection with her sister and cousin the three lived together for most of their lives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Martinez; her mother, Marta Perez; sisters, Ester Cantu, Ofelia Perez and Lupe Gonzales; brother, Antonio Duran; several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by numerous devoted nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 5-7:00 PM a prayer service will follow in the Chapel of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday also in the chapel of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Cantu of Loraine officiating. Interment will follow in Mitchell County Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved mother.
