He was born on October 27, 1950 in Roscoe Texas to Weldon and Nita Walker Mahan.
Michael was a quiet down to earth man who believed in keeping your life private. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force and worked until he retired as an aviation mechanic for American Airline. He lived his life close to God, making sure to be a very giving person and staying very family oriented. He was loved by all that knew him and will be dearly missed.
Michael is survived by a son Victor Mahan of Prague Oklahoma, by his grandchild Ashton Mahan of Prague Oklahoma, by his mother Nita Mahan of Colorado City, by a brother Tom Mahan of Colorado City, and by his sisters Marilyn Sloan of Colorado City, Barbara Daniel and husband Bill of Arcada California, and Judy Pettebone of Denver Colorado. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father Weldon Mahan and by a daughter Christina Mahan.
Memorial services for Michael will be held privately at the family’s convenience.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
