Karen was born on January 3rd in Odessa to Edward Davidson and Betty Sue Bailes.
Karen was a woman of tremendous faith who loved her Lord and her family with all her might. She was a beautiful loving wife and the best mother and grandmother, as well as a friend. She was a very devout Christian always trying to make a difference in everyone’s life by letting them know about Gods saving grace. She would always talk about what she thought heaven would be like. She was truly a blessing and a gift from God for all of her family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Karen is survived by her husband John Morris of Loraine, by her son Robert Morris of Houston, by her daughter Melinda Morris of Loraine, and by grandchildren Hadassah, Isaac, Hannah, Ivy, Maggie, and Braxton. She is also survived by her brothers Charles Lindsey of Colorado City and Clifton Davidson of Breckenridge, and by a sister Cathy Lindsey of Breckenridge, as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends
She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Sue Bailes Batek.
A funeral service for Karen will be held on Thursday, September 9th at 10 am in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Foster of the Assembly of God Church of Colorado City officiating, burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery.
The family receive guests on Wednesday, September 8th at Kiker Seale Funeral Home form 6-8 pm and request that all in attendance wear a mask.
