Janice was born July 27, 1936, in Loraine, Texas, to Oscar Paul and Lara Stewart. Janice met and married Doyal V Harmon; they then moved to Andrews, Texas, and raised their two sons. After living in Andrews, they moved to Singapore for 4 years, and Janice fell in love with the Orient. After moving back to Texas, they moved to Snyder, where she resided for over 40 years, where she worked at City Hall until her retirement.

Janice is survived by her Son Doug Harmon and wife Debra, Grandsons Luke Harmon, Layne Harmon, Shayne Harmon, Brother Bob Stewart, and Nephew Kyle Stewart. Janice also leaves behind her beloved poodle Penny.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years Doyal V Harmon, Son Steven D Harmon, and her parents Paul and Lara Stewart.
