Roscoe. Texas – Mrs. Frankie Elwanda Bradbury, age 79, of Roscoe, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 in Colorado City. Services will be at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10 o’clock AM with Bruce Parsons of Champion Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Texas Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas. Elwanda was born April 3, 1932 on the family farm in the Champion Community to Oliver and Naomi Owens Bain. She married the love of her life, Eugene Bradbury, on July 18, 1953 in Hermleigh, Texas. Upon retirement, they returned to live on the family farm in the Champion Community. During her life, she was a loving wife and mother, a homemaker and a beautiful seamstress. Survivors are her husband Eugene of Roscoe, one son, David Bradbury and wife, Pat of Guthrie; two daughters: Norma Mathes and husband, Guy of Hillsboro and Janice Stafford and husband, Tommy of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, LaVerne Hiller.
A family visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening between 6-8 PM.
