Edward was born on April 28, 1931 in Peanut Hill, Arkansas to Christopher and Bessie Moran Carver.
Edward was a wonderful and caring husband who was always there for his family, making sure to teach his boys well. He enjoyed going to church and was heavily involved with activities at Calvary Baptist Church. In his spare time Edward was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed doing almost anything there was to do outside, including gardening. It is said that he had an impeccable green thumb. Edward is survived by his wife of 66 years, Juanita Carver, whom he married on June 10, 1950 in Eldorado Arkansas, as well as by their sons Rick Carver and wife Cecelia of Colorado City and Benny Carver and wife Elaine of Beebe Arkansas. Also surviving are his grandchildren Christina Gorman and husband Richard of Orange, Texas, Justin Carver and wife Candice of Sweetwater, Benjamin Carver of Bossier City Louisiana, and Carey Carver and wife Ami of Sweetwater, Texas. His sisters Lilian Curtis of Shreveport Louisiana and Annie Lou Payne of White Oak Texas as well as 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild also survive.
He was preceded in death by his brother Albert Carver and by a sister Helen Wilson.
