Earnest M. Stephens, age 92, of Abilene passed away April 1, 2013 in a local hospital. A graveside funeral service will be at 2 PM Thursday at Colorado City Cemetery with his grandson, Rev. Alexander Ridge officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Stephens is preceded in death by two sons, Earnest “Butch” Stephens and Jackie “Rusty” Stephens. Survivors include his daughter, Karlinda Wanzor and husband, Rex of Carbon, Texas and a son,Rodger “Tuffy” Stephens of Lubbock, Texas. He was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church and was a member of the VFW. He was a proud veteran of WWII.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 8 AM until time of service.
