David Martinez

David Martinez, age 25, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2013. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1 PM at the Colorado City High School Auditorium with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery.

David was born on October 27, 1987 in Snyder, TX to Frank and Rosa Martinez. David touched many hearts with his kindness and love. Many will remember and miss his infectious smile. Spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews was always a priority in David’s life. One of his favorite hobbies was roping and riding his horse Patron. He loved all his pets and considered his dogs, Dally and Dolly part of the family. David was a member of Saint Ann’s Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish David’s memories are his parents, Frank and Rosa Martinez of Colorado City; his brother, Frank and wife Monica Martinez of Colorado City; his sister, Crystal and husband Cornelio Correa of Colorado City; nieces and nephews, Morgan and Trey Martinez, and Caleb, Caitlyn, and Courtney Correa all of Colorado City, as well as his dear friend Talva Hurt.

A visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 3rd and 4th from 8AM to 8PM with rosary beginning at 7PM on Thursday and at 6PM on Friday at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel.

Services are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
